My Lord

I know Your there even when it appears that you are gone

Your scriptures filter through my mind bursting forth in song

There are times of peaceful silence as I stop to think of You

Looking through my kitchen window I behold the wonders that You do

Majestic trees bearing natures fruit, is a gift I do receive

From you hand to my table is the food You give and my praise it makes you pleased

And even when I’m lonely, I know just where to look

For Your comfort is just a page away tucked in the greatest book

That tells me all I need to know about the Lord that would be King

That reigns over all the Land, my heart and everything
